I consider Rudy a "great" movie. It is more of an inspirational movie to me though, not a football movie.

good point. I know there are alot of people that dislike this movie because of the misleading facts of a true story

Yeah, people need to get over that crap. Just like the Braveheart haters. Just take the movie by itself and enjoy it. I'm talking to you Harry Potter fans!

Went out on a limb on those.

Eight Men Out

In my top 10.

Raging Bull

Ive tried it a couple of times. Just dont like it for some reason. Not in my top 10 in boxing.

MMA

Warrior

I dont care for MMA but I loved this movie. Is there even another movie about MMA?

Secretariat

I love the whole Secretariat story. I lived that summer when I was 12. Amazing stuff. One really had to be there to understand what it was like. I thought the movie was good but kind of like Miracle (I watched the game live/semi-live) the movies dont really do the real life experience justice.

not going to win an oscar but if you grew up in the 90s then those were in the wheelhouse.

Necessary Roughness is golden too.

We Are Marshall - Kate Mara, cheerleader/waitress, just so happens to be related to both Art Rooney and Tim Mara. I mean, this chick has it in her contract that if the Steelers or Giants are in the Super Bowl, she can miss work to watch it! HOW HOT IS THAT shite?

Necessary Roughness - Quantam Leap at QB? Awesome!

Slap Shot - Funniest sports movie I can remember

Semi-Pro, Talledega Nights, Happy Gilmore, and Blades of Glory - Stupid but hilarious and very quotable.

Bull Durham - Amazingly awesome and a young Susan Sarandon

Field of Dreams - Classic

Remember the Titans - Makes grown men cry

Major League and Caddyshack - My 2 favorites of any time ever! Love it!

If you name half of these movies might as well go ahead and throw in the movie with Pacino and Macauneghey(spell?) about sports gambling. Or maybe add The Last Boyscout because it revolves around professional footbal.
