For the rantards that have given up on RS what's the latest? Did his performance last night change your view of him and his contributions on the field for 2012?

IMHO he is the X-factor for us to win a BCS title and run the table in 2012. Sounded to me like he had a good game catching the ball last night and maybe has moved into another "good-fit" role of returning kickoffs with his speed and vision.

BTW: I think his non-TD catch call last week was debatable. He didn't really drop the ball so much as the ground caused him to lose control. With ODBJr, JLandry, and RShep we have a formidable receiving corps when Mett is throwing the football. KBoone is a good 4th WR. Geaux Tigers!

I agree that Shep played great last night and could be a valuable contributor down the stretch. But you've forgotten James Wright.

Not really. One of the top WRs didn't play so he got more opportunities than normal.

he snagged a pretty tough ball last night. I hope last night got the monkey off his back and he'll be more consistent going forward because we'll definitely need him.

Shep played well last night. He even lined up at RB and had a great play. He has the potential to be a Percy Harvin type of player. I hope Les keeps giving him the ball at receiver and at RB.

He caught a couple of balls but like always he dropped a couple sure catches.

He's not worth wasting passes by throwing the ball to him.

I feel as if the coaches let shep start bc we were playing Idaho and knew it was a cake game. I'm glad he did well, but we have better receivers that will be in the game when it matters. Just my opinion.

Nobody gave up on Shep. He just needs to be consistent catching the football. I can't think of another player except JJ who has been given more chances to prove himself at LSU. Shep hasn't produced to his potential.
