i love woodson, but if cutler had half a second to throw the ball, it would be a fairer fight. green bay played great tonight defensively, but cutler has come a long way. he just didnt have time to throw tonight

So easy to blame the OL. They had a bad game, but Cutler had plenty of time on all of his INTs. He simply has no pocket presence and that is what leads to most sacks.

This video shows all 4 INTs. None of those were because of bad blocking. The blocking was starting to break down on the 4th, but he released the ball early.

He consistently had time in the pocket against the Bears. The sacks are a tribute to the Green Bay CBs more than anything. The blocking was terrible on a few, but Cutler simply couldn't find a man to pass to on most.

hes been beat up in the pocket his whole time in chicago-- part of it is his fault since he bolted a good o-line in denver-- but irregardless, the line played like shite, and he played like shite. i just dont think its really the same ole jay who throws tons of picks. and im a guy whos never really been a jay fan

Like I said, it's a combination of a lot of things. He has had a bad OL since he went to Chicago, but he also took a while to release the ball today. That lead to a lot of the hits he took in the pocket (a tribute to GB's CBs).

Maybe in Chicago. He looked 10x better his last season in Denver. 4500 yards in his second full season as a starter and led a team which had 7 or 8 different RBs and the league's worst D to the verge of the playoffs. I thought he was about to break out as a bona fide star. He needs to get his act together. I'm pretty much done defending him. He has all the ability of the world and only the right mind half the time

Chicago did not call one screen on the aggressive Packers D.

That would haat least kept them honest.

No quick hits or anything else tonight. Terrible performance by all. Cutler can't take the blame for that.

I know. Like I said, the result was a combination of a lot of things. But the OL was not completely to blame.

The QB will always shoulder the blame. And when you have an attitude like Cutler, it will only make it worse.

This mystified me. The Bears knew what to expect, but didnt act on it. There's a reason the Packers always drum them, and it starts at the top- the coaches
