Its not how you start it's how you finish.
We lost our opener last year.
The Bills started 5-0 last year. The Bucs started 5-2 or something like that. Guess what? Both missed the playoffs.

This is very true and I am not going to say whats going to happen. But their were some very disturbing things that happened in this game that we haven't seen from a Saints team in a long time.

This. I understand it's one game, but this one game showed a ton of issues. The entire defense was a mess, but hopefully when our DBs are healthier it will make a difference. Our OL had one of the worst games I've ever seen. They couldn't pass or run block worth a shite. Our WRs weren't exactly sharp either, and we have to hope that Devery is ok because Morgan was absolutely terrible. I'm not giving up on this team yet, though.

This is the worst our offense will look all year. Including when we play the 49ers later in the season.
I won't make a prediction about the defense. I think they will have a few bad games.
Our opening game plan wasn't very good, pass heavy that got shut out, and defense sitting back scared got gashed underneath. We will make adjustments, and individually players will step it up.

Sal Pal said two things on Cowherd's show that turned out to be prophetic.
1. He pointed out the Skins are 6 and 1 at the Dome (now 7-1)
2. He said not to expect too much from Spags' new look defense right away. He pointed out that after he installed the Defense for the Giants there was a near-mutiny because it took half a season for the players to figure it out.

Honestly I don't see how we do that though. I realize they look like shite against TB but I doubt they'll be anything but solid against us.

Yeah the Packers game is almost identical to ours with the flow and scoring trend of the game.
Finally when the home crowd gets back into it the all-world QB throws the worst pass of the day and ruins it.

I'm not freaking out, as long as this is one of our unexplained, dumb-founded loses. Let me tell you though: I just woke up from a post game nap, and it sucks.
