elprez00 is getting paid really well to represent Entergy on here. You better come with better info that that. 
Yes I don't understand how it works, but I have jogged and biked all over my area of town and the power line damage is very minimal.

Entergy sells power, the longer you don't have it the more money they lose. They want you to have power its not a conspiracy against you.
