My buddy gave me Insanity and I just started a few days ago. Is it worth going thru the entire program? I'm struggling to keep up with the routine and I want to know if its normal.
TIA

I almost passed out the first few times I tried it. I wasn't in great shape though.

I did the first month of it, following the calendar, and I had good results. I didn't finish the second month. I got lazy.

have finished it twice.

the first time, i lost around 9 pounds or so, down to 137. Others will lose much, much more, btw.

try finishing insanity, then going into insanity asylum.

asylum is only 30 days, but it's an absolute beast.

It's an amazing workout and you don't have to spend money on weights, pull up bars, or bands.

I did it for a month in a half. I had to quit because I had lost 15 lbs which put me at 140 lbs and losing weight wasn't what I was doing it for. My problem was that I wasn't eating enough.

I still do some of the workouts from time to time for extra cardio.

I've done the first month of Insanity and liked it a lot. Got lazy during the "rest" week and didn't finish.

I'm currently 7.5 weeks into the Tapout XT workout. It's Insanity w/ resistance bands. I enjoy this one much much more. I've lost 20lbs (213.4-192ish).

The biggest thing for me was to stop eating fast food everyday. I cut that and soft drinks out completely. Going cold turkey sucks, but once you get past the 2nd week, you'll despise fast food.

Good luck! They all work if you eat better and stay dedicated. I love the way I feel and look now.

You need to DIG DEEPER!

Seriously though, not a fan of the bouncing around. Those make me dizzy.

I did the first week twice before 5 days off and moving through the calendar normally. It helped to get my cardio to a decent level, I would have died in some of the later workouts.

Yes, I did it for about a full year and I slimmed up and toned up.
