Covering the fire proofing would be a good idea as well as power washing, and painting the con courses the same color as the stadium. remove that window covering and tint the windows. They could etch or even decal the windows before tinting. then put an eye on each side sort of like mike looking out into the parking lot. That would be the tits!!!! something like this

I actually like the yellow "TIGER STADIUM" in the renderings. I really think it's going to help add a little character to the West side.
I'm sure it will look just like the ALEX BOX STADIUM (only bigger). I'm excited about all of the renovations, but my favorite things thus far are the North windows, resurfaced concrete, North purple/gold lights, and TIGER STADIUM on the West.

What? I happen to like the the yellow lettering. I wasn't implying that LSU go to autozone and buy 200 rolls of limo tent and do it themselves. You can get tinted or mirrored windows to eliminate the sun that is apparently so bad on that side. I also was not suggesting a decal on the windows. A iced etching of a set of tiger eyes over looking would be pretty freaking sweet in my opinion.
I happen to like all the additions they are doing. Just a few more attentions to detail to tie it all together.

Someone brought up in a previous thread that the bars across the windows are not there for just the sun, but also to prevent the windows from falling out.

Are they replacing the coverings on the back of the scoreboards? They were beginning to look bad last year, I imagine it will be much worse this year if something hasn't been done.

I like how the staples center looks at night with it's lighting. I wish Tiger Stadium could look something like this. Bright purple lights and yes I realize that the staples center lights are more blue. I just prefer this over the uplight purple and gold. Though with all the different architectural stylings through out the years it would probably be harder to pull off and look good.

I just think it's funny that people point out little subtle things like the yellow lettering as being cheesy, and let some giant, cheesy, Eye of the Tiger glass etching slide by.

why is it numbered in reverse? Should gate one start on the left and work to the right. That's the one thing I thought was odd.
They totally renumbered the gates, instead of portals, so they could have done it like that.

The "Gate 6" sign is slightly crooked... I drove past it today. I hope they fix that before they finalize everything.
