looking at Keurig, nespresso. What is the best model out there for the price?

I have a single serve coffee maker. I think it's called a French press. $15.

thanks, but I am talking about an automatic

Swear by? No. But I enjoy my Keurig. Got it for my wife. Oddly enough, QVC had the best price plus it came with like 80 servings.

Keurig. Customer service is excellent they will replace it if it breaks.

Keurig brews at 192 degrees but the ncausa states optimal extraction is between 195 - 205 degrees Fahrenheit.

My roommate has one of these. I've tried it and I flat out just don't like it. The coffee it makes is not strong enough for me. But that's not to say that you won't like it.
I use a french press.

We have a Keurig. I too had a problem with the strength of the coffee then I found Emerils big easy bold. Problem solved

This is not because of the maker. It's because she's not buying k cups that are strong enough for you.
Try Green Mountain's Sumatran Reserve and tell me it's not strong enough for you! I LOVE this stuff!
Emeril's Big Easy Bold is also a stronger one, but not as much as the SR.

agreed. i bought one because i wanted something convenient for making coffee at the office. sold it for a big loss to a friend within a few months. tried a bunch of different k-cups; just didn't think it made a good cup of coffee.
i've got the Hamilton Beach Scoop now. much happier, and i'm not tied to k-cups; i can brew whatever coffee i want.

Is awesome. And don't listen to these guys... there's plenty of strong brands that make a k-cup. The Barista Prima Italian Roast is amazing.

Yeah, you just have to find a brand for you. Which is why the QVC thing was so awesome because it came with about 6 servings of about 12 different brands.

I enjoy my Keurig. As was mentioned above, there are several cups available that brew a pretty strong cup. Also, my model will brew normal ground coffee, so I'm not tied to the K-cups...I just use them if I need a cup of coffee in 30 seconds as I am running out the door.

Not a coffee snob, but have a keurig at home, tried a family members tassimo, and have a flavia machine at work in the break room. They all brew about the same as far as speed/temperature. I picked the keurig because it has the most selection and kcups are more available at stores moreso than the other brands. Will use the keurig at home during the week for a quick cup, but still brew a big pot on weekend mornings.
