I hate the Iron Islands. One could easily omit them from the entire story.

I'm curious to see if the show cuts out the Kingsmoot entirely and just shows Euron taking power and him sending Victarion to Meereen.

Why wouldn't they? What value does it add to the story line other than some background info?
Iron Islands = Japan in WWII.

Yeah, I'm basically like that too. I didn't give a shite about them until Asha went North and all of that. The Kingsmoot was boring to me.
It's not that it was boring, it's just that it's proven to be pretty pointless. Damphair seems pointless, they could have just had a chapter explaining Asha, Victorian, and Euron without that other crap

No hair dryers in Westeros, so Damphair is there to stay.

I'm not crazy about the Iron Islands chapters in Feast, or Areo Hotah's chapters except the one he had in Dance was necessary. I'm trying to figure out what purpose Arianne has going forward; will she be the one to marry Faegon?
I just don't know why Arianne couldn't have been present for the first chapter, and then just do her perspective from that point forward. Even George has admitted that he probably fricked up giving Arys Oakheart a POV chapter instead of giving it to Arianne.

I do agree to a point but giving Oakheart a POV helped show how uneasy things were in Dorne. Arianne would not have had to sneak around so it would have been tough to show the distain for King's Landers in Dorne.
But I like the Dorne chapters. The Dornish are my favorite. And during my reread I have found that I like AFfC better than any of the books with AGoT a close second. It painted the landscape a little better than the others.

Some MAJOR news from my internet sleuthing:
I was on IMDb and came across Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn)'s IMDb page...she is credited for appearing in Mockingbird and The Children (E7 and E10)....So will the Moondoor be in E10???

Well, doing it at the end of the season has sort of lost its point now that everyone knows that Littlefinger was behind Jon Arryn's death and the letter to Cat.
Posted on 5/6/14 at 12:35 pm to OMLandshark
yeah, not sure why they already gave that away

I think so. She is the central piece to the Great Dornish Plot. That, and someone has got to marry the three Targaryens. I don't think they marry each other, but rather come to find that each still has family left in the world.

I was really bummed out that they did the reveal last episode.

Maybe they kill sweetrobin too for some shock value. That actor is growing up fast as well, so unless they recast he'll have his driver's license by the time the show is into Dance

Eh, as much as a whiny brat that Sweetrobin is, I hope they keep him around until his eventual death in season 6.

My Hodor friends are complaining about how "slow" the first half of this season has been. They want more sex and more killings... has GRRM and the David's ruined the world?
But I told them, just you wait

From what I've seen, the Hodors seem to be pretty happy. They also need to think about previous seasons and realize that even less battles and fights happened this early on in all 3 seasons than this one.

I may be over - simplifying, but about the Others...is it that only living flesh can be turned, and dead bodies become Wights?
And Craster kept the girls...that's why only boy babies were turned...?
And the girl in The Ice Dragon...is she the first Other? If not, maybe became Night's King's bride?

I'll bet they make the Sansa sweetrobin sleeping together scene super creepy
Posted on 5/6/14 at 3:06 pm to Cosmo
Yeah, her waking up just in time to foil an attempted feeding...

Cant really blame sweetrobin for that one
