Brienne ends up with Rickon, carrying him around Westeros in a backpack. He warges into a giant to please his wife from time to time.

When do we get details on the Others. I'm talking about Origin stories, their plans, what they are trying to accomplish. This has to be discussed greatly in book 6 right?

i'll try to find the site i read it on, but basically GRRM said that in the next book characters will travel farther north than ever before and we'll learn much more about the others

Nope. The series ends with Waymar, son of Waymar, on a ranging mission only to be killed by an Other. The last words of the series are, "Waymar had a dream, once. A dream of Spring."

yea im hoping that one of the early chapters of the next book is a Benjen POV
and its him with one or two black brothers and maybe even a couple wildlings that they've allied with to try and discover where the others have actually come from and thats why they're so far north
because when you think about it, there's no reason for any other character to travel farther north
Bran has no reason to go any farther now that he's met up with the 3 eyed crow
and everyone else is busy (or dead) at the wall or south of it

Spot on. Only scenario that makes sense, unless Rikon has been traded to the Others by the people on that island.

Just a FYI. BustedTees is having a big sale (40% off for the next 48 hours with the code: DODECAGON) and they have some A Song of Ice and Fire related tees. Here's a few:
(Yes, I bought The Wall one)
With all kinds of great pop culture stuff as well...

I thought about that one but I had a couple other non-ASOIAF shirts I wanted to get and I can wear The Wall shirt to work when we dress down (beer theme + working in a school = no bueno ).
