I think the biggest mystery still left by GRRM is why is Sam still fat? It makes no sense. I'm open to theories.
Maybe he is like Hurley who stayed fat on LOST for 6 seasons.

I doubt it. Tyrion knew Gerion pretty well and was even going to go with them I believe and Tywin forbade it.
I think Tyrion would recognize him.

I should have worded differently. I meant do you think we have been introduced to him or has he been playing a role that we are overlooking. Obviously he is not Moqorro, but maybe he is in Mareen with all the shite hitting the fan. Would be cool for Tryion to find his favorite uncle and bring back Brightroar

My guess is that when Dany and co. sail east to Westeros (I do believe that they will sail east and land on the Western shore of westeros) they will find the wreckage of of Gerion's ship and thats pushing it in my opinion. I just don't see Martin bringing back all these missing characters.

Would be awesome. Would also be cool if Jon dies, lives in Ghost for a while, then when Dany comes, wargs into one of the dragons (because he is Targaryen), and wreaks havoc

Well Egg was a "good guy" and he had Bloodraven locked up in the black cells then sent to the Nightswatch. We don't know why though.

I thought there was a reason that was said. I didn't read the Dunk and Egg, but I read the histories on Westeros. If he is bad, what's he doing? and I do think coldhands is Benjen

I think it got started cause it's said how he's like an old man, and no Howland ever.
My sister just got done reading and thinks that Jon is Mance and vice versa and it was Manse that got stabbed. She thinks Melisandre glamoured them so Jon could go to Winterfell without any one knowing Then Mance/Jon got the letter and freaked out needing to go save Jon. That's crazy, but the story is too
