Yea dude drive is pretty damn good
I guess people are pretty polarized about it on here but probably my favorite movie from last year
Just don't go in expecting pulp fiction or whatever, just take it for what it is
I went in with zero expectation and came out of the theater very surprised

Don't watch a movie like Drive in the middle of the day. You gotta wait till the sun goes down and it's dark.

I loved it. It is one of the more polarizing movies that I have seen discussed on this board.

So - I had no idea what to expect. And, I definitely don't want to provide any Spoilers.
But, I have to say this, when I first started, I asked my wife, "who's this dude, he looks familiar?" She's like, "Idiot, that's the guy from 'The Notebook'". I'm like, "Oh great, so this is going to be another one of those BS notebook movies but instead of war scenes and furniture it is with cars?"
Well, I will say this, 'Drive' is certainly not a cooler version of "The Notebook".
But, I have to say this, when I first started, I asked my wife, "who's this dude, he looks familiar?" She's like, "Idiot, that's the guy from 'The Notebook'". I'm like, "Oh great, so this is going to be another one of those BS notebook movies but instead of war scenes and furniture it is with cars?"

Watched it last night....meh
it was okay, but nothing special....characters and the relationship was poorly developed. Also gosling's character personality was forced and unrealistic.....no one is that much of a zombie. Also the storyline was pretty blah as well and not all that entertaining.
Not sure how anyone could label this "one of the best movies of the year." if yur out of stuff to watch on Netflix, it's worth a watch to pass some time, but if you never get a chance to see it it's not like you've missed anything. This is a 2-3 star type movie (Netflix stars)....hard to say I liked it, but I also won't say that I didn't like it....just a watchable meh movie.
