basically said if Mett wasn't hurt due to bowl game practice, he (Les) probably would have played him.

Wait wait wait. So Miles ADMITS that he should have and would have played a QB other than JJ...but makes no explanation as to why he failed to substitute in the available senior back-up who had started half of the season and gone undefeated in that role?

This sounds like utter post-hoc bullsh*t.

Technically, JJ was, too.

Apparently, Mett hurt his throwing hand at some point before the game.
A practice before.

Ummmmm....did you NOT see how he looked in the first meeting??

J. Lee lost his shot with the "deer in the headlight" play in Nov.

Sounds to me like he is saying. . .Mett was the better option for 1-9, but JJ was the better option over JL.

the explaination is that kid shite the bed against the team we were playing in the BCS CG and would not have been undefeated had he not been pulled from that game.

Or it sounds like LM knows info about his team that we don't know. Just like every coach does and should. You really should trust a coach that has brought us so much success much more.

you talking about the "available senior back-up" who shite his pants every time he saw crimson? when are you clowns going to get it? if the other "available senior back-up" could have effectively attacked bama, don't ya think he would have shown he had an inkling of how to accomplish it in his previous four attempts? this is not a knock on JL, but more a knock on you and people like you who blame JJ/Miles, and JJ/Miles solely for the loss in the natcham game. Miles and staff played the hand that was dealt them....and the precentages overwhelmingly pointed to JJ being the best option in a close game with bama. both those kids gave their best. the heartwarming comeback fantasy that many here lusted for was just that....a fantasy that, by the results shown in previous performances, would have blown up in LSU's face. but then you fricks could have blamed Miles "for not sticking to the game plan and panicking" therefore losing a natcham that we were entitled to...yeah, right.

bust hump....kill bama.

It is a very overrated performance. Lee gets lit up IMO if he steps into Last year's NC game.
