This is the dumbest comment in the thread. I am die-hard LSU but this is just stupid. If someone thinks wearing an LSU shirt makes you a "winner" then you probably didn't attend LSU OR ULL let alone your local community college.

I remember the 2000 LSU-Ull baseball game where the gelhead pussies showed up in Geaux Louisiana! Beat State shirts. That game got rough on the field and in the stadium.

I'd have to agree with you here a lot of people from my HS went to Tech and they are legit Tech fans......They cheer hard as the next guy for LSU too but they are legit Tech fans.

I don't think that anyone can dispute that without LSU the state of higher education and athletics at higher education instituions in the state of LA would be in a sorry situation.

They won a football championship in 1987.
ETA: It was in 1-AA. That was LaTech's first season in 1A. Tech went to the 1AA CG a few years before but didn't win.
