Description - Very casual, activities depending on whatever the hell we are in the mood for. Looking to establish PvP groups.
Professions/roles needed - Any.

Release Date: August 28, 2012
No the game isn't out yet, but the dignified and illustrious Muppet has allowed us, under his benign benevolence, to start a guild under the Ole War Skule banner. Anyways, if you played the first one, good. If not, the game is a lot of fun, see here: LINK

Servers are apparently very easy to switch, so we won't have to worry about who goes where.

If the server is TOO packed, or it seems that way, make your character anyway, then you can guest on ANY OTHER SERVER for PvE at any time.

I'm definitely considering purchasing gw2. I remember play the first guild wars and loved it. Then I heard about WoW and that sent me on a downward spiral since 04

I purchased the collector's edition (don't ask why) and played 1 beta weekend.
I thought I would enjoy it since GW held my attention for so long. Problem might be, just don't feel like starting another MMO. Only thing bringing me to this game is the separated PvP. Arena PvP is all I really do.

WE ARE CHANGING SERVERS, Well see below, Just giving it some thought.
I need to make sure everyone gets that note. A few of the better big guilds that would be nice to be around have left Sorrow's Furnace. Also, the server somehow became the South American server, which just makes communication tough (and a couple of SA Goon Squad type guilds joined up, bad reputation).
So we are shopping for a new server. Current Landing Spots:
Yak's Bend
DragonBrand (New US Server, could be good to land there)
Blackgate
Crystal Desert
Fort Aspenwood
See this site. If you know any good spots to land given the guilds attached, let me know, we'll take a vote.

Just picked it up this weekend.
Found a good deal Slickdeals (20% off the game) for anyone who has not gotten it yet.
I know a few people coming from WoW to this so I will make the jump with them. From the looks of it they do not have the normal tank and healers?

Dragonbrand is the server of choice.
Seemed the best fit, strong community and WvWvW guilds, but medium population. During the last week Blackgate went to mega-populated.
Both a mega-guild, and a good one at that, and a decent Alliance are running on the server. I may try get us into one of those, but we'll put that to a vote.
And cool name to boot.
I'll repeat for emphasis:
There will be Free Server Transfers for the first few weeks, but I don't think we'll have too many problems getting on the same server.

Will everyone check for both Muppet's request and to make sure we all know DRAGONBRAND is the server of choice, even if you posted once and lurked the thread, we want to make sure everyone knows.
