I hate it when I unfortunately hit something but the list is as such:

Some squirrels
Possums
Maybe a couple raccoons
And the kicker.....

A bull.

Yes, I'm serious. Not a full grown one, close to full grown size but definitely not a calf.

I was driving down 397 (just east of the pontoon bridge in Grand Lake, near Big Lake) and some guy's walked out of their pasture when the dinky fence fell over after some big rain.

It was night time, he was a black bull and was standing right in the middle of the road, facing me, not lengthwise across the road.

I didn't see anything on the road, looked in my rear view mirror, looked back and I see a bull looking at me. The owners got penalized because it's a state highway and livestock, at least in that area, have to be contained. That's what the sheriff deputy said.

OH this one is gonna be good.

A couple of armadillos, one rabbit (that I actually picked up and kept...only crushed the head), a few doves that never made it out of ground effect and got clipped.

Now for the unusual: An owl. Coming home LATE one night from an all night Electrical Engineering lab...it flew into the door of my Ford Ranger. It was like 2am...and I was on Hwy 27 South of Sulphur...so I stopped trying to figure out what in the hell hit my truck...backed up and it was flipping out on the road. Little bitty owl...about the size of a coke can.

But that's nothing. Not me..but my Mom. She was driving home one night from work and what comes out of the ditch but a freaking HORSE...full grown. She's in my Dad's F250 Diesel..clips the horse...spins him around...and he lands back in the ditch. She calls the police and a State Trooper shows up. The owner claimed it was an "Act of God"...the LSP politely tells him..nope...it's an act of negligence as his fence was poorly maintained. LSP had to put the animal down. Owner was issued a loose stock ticket and his home-owners paid to fix dad's truck. Freaking horse put his hoof thru the hood.

Dogs, cats, opossums, armadillos, raccoons, rabbits, deer, squirrels, coyotes, fowl, and a ram.

And a few other things that just happened to be in the way when I needed to get through. I don't remember what those were necessarily.

Pretty much anything native to La. Two seasons worth of limits of deer.

Let's see...two deer, one turkey, one screech owl, three groundhogs, four cats, two dogs, countless possums, and two legless reptiles. None of this was my fault, though. Ignorant animals in the road just don't take the time to read. One side of my truck says "Dodge" and the other side says "Ram".

I ran over a mouse a couple of months ago. They were harvesting cane and it came darting out the field. I thought that was pretty cool.

I've never hit anything big, and no dogs or cats, but the usual south LA roadkill victims (coon, possum, snake, turtle, birds, etc)

With my vehicles, I have hit and killed:

A Deer - large doe on Hwy 150 between Bessemer and Hoover, Al.
A Dog - small mixed in the neighborhood where I live now.
Several squirrels.
A Possum.
A nutria rat between Gramercy and LaPlace westbound 8-10 years ago
A hawk - it flew into the side of my SUV while on I59.
And.....
