I waited all year for him to tell Jacoby Jones not to swing at balls two feet off the plate. Maybe he told him, maybe he didn't.
Or two feet over his head...
Same for Katz as well. LOL

best tread i ever read tyson
. I've tried this 3 times and all i got was wacky wacky. I hate pm with a passion!! He throws his players under the bus for no reason. He's needs to praise them because they are not very good and saved his job by obviously overachieving. He definitely don't know when to take a pitcher out. Someone needs to tell him there is a such thing as the bullpen and you usually use them when you starter is getting rocked!!

You guys may be up in arms over it, but every single baseball related word Tyson53 posted in the OP was spot-on accurate. Not so much with the football part.
I'm a pretty much neutral observer when it comes to LSU Baseball, but I keep up with them. Tyson53 is completely right.

He doesn't coach or administer he occupies the throne that a REAL coach built, Skip Bertman. The players that won the NCAA were Smoke Laval's players
LMAO....yet Smoke couldn't win a NC with his own players .....or Skip's player for that matter?
Taking 2 of 3 on the road at #2 South Carolina on the final weekend is backing in? You might want to
look up the meaning of that expression.

Whatever you do don't blame the players for not executing in the game they played in.

Tell em brah. The die hards will tell you they hate winning the SEC and hosting a super regional.

Tyson,
I'm betting by the lucid way you analyzed our coaching situation that you, like myself played baseball past the high school level. Like it or not people he is spot on. With today's bats the college baseball game has become more strategic and technical than ever before, as opposite field homers can no longer atone for your fielding and baserunning shortcomings. Small ball and strategic baseball decisions combined with the ever present bit o' luck is where the game currently stands and for the most part we are poorly instructed. Our excellent starting pitching staff and several above avg. relievers were responsible for 10 to 15 of the 47 wins. Pitching drops off and we win around 35 ballgames. Fact. Some these things will be hard for you JV right fielders to comprehend. Tell me fella's what constitutes a save opportunity? I'm guessing blank stares and google engines firing...
