This show is a good lunch time show. It wouldn't work at 3-6. It's tough to throw money at a noon show.

Great show. Charles really knows his stuff, and offers unbiased opinions on LSU sports. Ott is OK, but with pomansky's insight on recruiting they really cover all aspects of LSU athletics. Definitely better than AFR..still enjoy listening to Matt though.

Don't know Ponamsky, but he sounds decent. I lived in Baton Rouge for 20 years and have listened to and taked to CH and JOtt. CH is humble, knowledgeable, listens to callers/other opinions, level-headed and measured...a class-act. JOtt is one of the most arrogant people I have listened to or met, talks down to people, will not own up to his bad takes and opinions, etc. Who can forget JOtt getting personal in his attacks toward Peyton Manning while Manning was still in college (JOtt thought Leaf should go #1 - "no comparison" he said) and literally losing all of his callers and getting fired. It literally got to the point of him having no callers. And who can forget, several games into Miles first year, JOtt saying over and over and over (as that Roscoe fellow agreed and giggled) that "I'm on the record, I'm on the record...no Les Miles coached LSU team will EVER again be ranked in the top 5." He was and is an idiot. Finally, OTT is all over this message board...probably searching for his name every 10 minutes. With his vanity, etc...he just cannot help himself.

Oh, no doubt. I just prefer the interactive nature of Scona's show. Also like the guest he gets.
It helps he always reads my texts on air and usually text me back.
Hannagriff is by far the most knowledgeable guy. He and Ponamsky both have major inside connections. However, i just enjoy the entertainment/setup of AFR more.

Buddy is on 1590 am from 1-3. I try to listen but the station is hard to catch. I usually try to listen to the Bud Man on Thursday when Kevin Ford has his one hour of fishing talk from 2-3.
Buddy's show is basically the same as it was on 1210. Tommy Krysen follows Buddy but without Chris Landry I have no reason to listen about the Cadillac Cafe or Caddy Shack driving range or Alvin Ballard roofing.

When he first started he was actually pretty good. You just had to endure Josh. Now he's ok. He's just as arrogant as Ott (if not more than). He will hang up on callers in a heartbeat too. Followed by the fake appreciation. IMHO he tries to hard to run it like a syndicated talk show. Never be as good as he can be in a local market.
Doesn't hold a candle to the noon show.
