How is it terrible?

The night NFL game is on the fricking NFL Network, it would be the only thing on when everybody AND their grandmother is sitting around the TV with nothing else to do.

It's brilliant.

You people who are complaining now will either relent and go to the game, or you will sit at home and watch it.

Either way - they've got you.

I understand this. But as an LSU fan, I'd rather be there. If it was on Fridays, I would go to both home and away. Being on Thanksgiving night makes me more inclined to stay home when LSU goes to College Station. I'm sure others feel the same way.

You must not attend games. I know I won't be going to that game, thanksgiving is a day to spend with family and eat a shite ton.

The stadium seems to have trouble filling up for the Friday games in the past. Do they think it will be better on a Thursday?

Because its a game I was really looking forward to going to with a big group of Aggies friends and now I will never get to go and if it is on Thanksgiving night will not get to watch with friends I like to watch games with.

Which is why it sucks. I don't understand your point, no one is saying they won't watch. A lot of us won't be able to go. I don't care about about never going to the Arkansas game, but this is a game I was looking forward. As to having a national audience, that I grossly over rated, LSU has a national recognition already.

First thing that comes to mind is that LSU is now guaranteed to have a very short week before the last game of the season.
