Very disappointing. Bonnaroo was a great festival.

Dubstep is one of the most, if not the most (modern county is up there) puzzling music "fads" ever. Consider this: almost ANYONE (read: someone who can download music software) can produce this stuff. It is very simple. The live shows attract a questionable audience that appears to be on drugs. Everyone I know either hates (majority) or loves the shite.

What does TD say on dubstep? Yay or Nay?

Dig it.

Admittedly, I'll be tired of it in like 3 months.

I saw big gigantic at hang out last year and left after 10 minutes. It was the worst most bring show i saw all weekend. I dont get the appeal of some dude pressing play on his computer than playing saxophone over it.

If you can't enjoy the music without the influence of drugs/alcohol..it isn't good music. I wouldn't listen to dubstep when I'm just relaxing or hanging out. Therefore, to me, dubstep is not good music.

I hate the stuff. I like music to have some inkling of emotion or attitude, which is what dubstep lacks. But, to each his own really.

ANYONE (read: someone who can buy a guitar and drums) can make rock/pop/jazz/etc. If it's so simple, why aren't you making good EDM music and making millions of dollars?

It's the standard percentage. Sorry you don't like it, but "derp they must be on drugs" is really simple of you.

It's shite.

I would use it to torture someone. That's about it.

I had a friend go to the Flux Pavilion concert in Atlanta over the weekend. They said it was pretty cool but the audience was all High School aged kids. I don't get the appeal of it.

I really like Burial and certain tracks by other artists. I always wanted to poll Skrillex fans about whether they have heard of Burial, considering he released one of the best received albums of the last decade. I've had about all I can stand of brostep.

Granted that it has become pretty mainstream and taken over by mostly little trendy high school kids, but some of the producers out there are extremely talented. I'm not talking about skrillex, he's got talent but there are guys out there that blow him out the water.

I've liked some of it I guess, but I have also noticed what seems to be a large amount of Affliction wearing Southern white trash that loves this shite, and that was kind of a turn off for me.

Oh, ok.

Are you reading that book? You know, The Secret? Where the main point of the book is that anyone can do anything if they just believe it? Some people lack music talents, some just have it. The same goes for pretty much anything in life. That's why there are people who stand out above the rest. I guess anyone could just pick up a guitar and be Buddy Guy if they'd like, right? I think everyone is gifted in some way, but don't make an asinine statement like the one you made.

To answer the dubstep question; not my thing, but I can find respect for it. It's certainly not something I can lay down in bed and listen to, or be inspired by, but it has its place for some.

Used to be into a couple of years ago. (benga, caspa etc. no bro-step) its got to have a swing or it's not dubstep. Im now getting into Nu Disco stuff. (drop out orchestra is an example) also aeroplane, the magician, cut copy, Miami horror, moonlight matters, slow hands. Just to name a few.

I think the music is fun but requires no talent at all. That being said I saw Flux Pavilion on Saturday in Atlanta and it was one craziest shows I've ever been to. It was basically the largest lingerie party I've been to

See that's where you're very mistaken. If it requires no talent, perhaps you can write us a banging electronic tune?

It's fun to dance to and chicks dig it

Sorry for partying but Skrillex, Rusko, and Steve Aoki to name a few put on some of the most insane shows I've ever seen.

Doesn't mean I don't still love the classics and listen to them on the reg
