Do they still have the Lemongrass Soup?
Yes. It's the best around now that Taste of Asia is gone.
Duang Tawan actually has a pretty good lemongrass soup, too.

It is under the overpass. Isn't that little italian place right next door called little village? Maybe I am mixing them up.

Yup. That's DiGiulio Bros. Other than that, though, everything else was accurate.

That's the fact, Jack. It's a TINY little place. Get there early if you want to eat there tonight in any reasonable amount of time. The entire operation is pretty much just the two older ladies that run it and cook. They don't seem to be interested in serving as many people as possible. They just cook what they cook, they do it at their own pace, and people seem to like it enough to spend more time than usual for dinner.
Oh, be prepared. The walls are mirrors, so it looks bigger than it is and all the sound echoes, so it can get quite loud.

How do you make the Pad Kao Prao?
i dont know their exact recipe, but, it was stir fried ground meat, or seafood, (i opted for pork for myself) stir fried with onions, tri-colored bell peppers, this thai basil paste(which can be bought in an asian market). i dont know what three sauces he used to make the Ka Prao sauce, but he did tell me that Thai sauces are an amalgamation of 3 base sauces...such as...fish sauce, rice wine, oyester sauce, etc. nothing was labeled. finish with a toss of fresh thai holy basil.
i was a waiter, not a cook.
