I've been a few times, really good food.
I'm not a heavy eater so i can only vouch for the salads and wraps
Although i did have the pork chops one time, and they were great!
...you'll enjoy it

Corn and crab bisque is great.

Anything you get will be good, grilled shrimp poboy with rocket sauce and dirty rice is my go to. They had a special of soft shell crab poboy with Rockrt sauce was good as well. Bread pudding is great

It's Asians cooking Cajun in a very small place with a pretty big menu. ...I give it a try every now & then, and have yet to see what others see in the place...The food I've had from there has either been not very good or just meh.

Is it fair to say that ethnicity isn't a requirement or impediment to cooking Cajun? I'm Irish and I cook Cajun. My fiancé has French and American Indian in her and it doesn't stop her.
Watched several African American students of LCI using Cajun seasoning in a cooking demonstration yesterday at the downtown Farmers Market in BR. For me their ethnicity has jack shite to do with their ability to cook the cuisine. For you evidently it does.
My quests is why?
Admittedly I know the folks who own the joint. I've always liked their grub personally. And I ain't afraid to call it like I see it gastronomically speaking.

I don't think he meant that as a racial statement. I think he was just pointing out that they are in fact Asian. And frankly it is kind of out of the norm.
Now if you know them tell them to fix the bread on the po boys, it's the one area that really needs attention. I like the joint.

Are they the same people that had the Chinese restaurant in that spot before it turned into JOB? I used to like that place.
As for Jasmine's, I'm probably the only poster that doesn't care for their food..I'm in the minority on Mason's Grill too. Other than breakfast I think that most of the food at Mason's is not that good. Their burgers are decent, but you can get decent burgers at tons of places.
