Ok, most probably already knew about this, but I just heard about it recently so it's new to me. Woody Harrelson's dad was a hitman who murdered a bunch of people and died in prison while serving a couple life sentences. Dude was like a character straight out of No Country For Old Men

He based his portrayal in Natural Born Killers on his dad.
Alan Rickman (Hans Gruber) quit his own successful start-up company in graphic design at the age of 26 to become an actor. He worked backstage on plays for free just to get into the biz and learn about acting.
He didn't get his first movie role until Die Hard in 1987, at the age of 41.

Dolph Lundgren attended the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He received a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, in 1982, and the next year was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to MIT.

That's badass. I wonder how soon after he quit his company he started thinking "hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have done that"

He put that degree to use. His physique has been chemically engineered since the 80's

Yes. If I remember correctly, he speaks 7 languages.

Saw this on his wiki page

Lundgren speaks Swedish, English, Spanish, some German, some French, some Japanese, and some Italian, but is not fluent in five languages as has often been reported

Interesting thread.
I don't know anything about anyone, but I've enjoyed reading everyone else's.

Just found a site with some crazy ones:
The only member of ZZ Top that doesn't have a beard is Frank Beard
Jack Nicholson grew up thinking his mother was his sister. He found out after her death that not only was his sister actually his mom but his "mom" was actually his grandmother.
The guy who played Star Trek's Scotty was shot 6 times on D-day at Juno Beach. The shots came from a Canadian gunner that thought he was a German. One shot hit him in the chest but his life was saved by a metal cigarette holder.
Elvis was born blonde. His hair turned sandy blonde in high school when he started to dye it black and just kept it that way.
Tim Allen was busted with 1.4 pounds of cocaine in a Michigan airport shortly after beginning his stand-up comedy career. His possible life sentence was lessened to 3-7 years after he ratted out his drug dealers.
Jimmy Stewart was a two star General in the Air Force where he served 27 years, many of which were behind-the-lines training positions once he got famous. He rose from Private to Colonel in less than four years (extremely rare).

I wonder what it means to speak "some" of a language. Hell I can speak "some" of like 4 different languages, although a few of them I can only say 1 or 2 phrases

So I'm assuming the dealers got life? Because it seems like with as uber high profile as Tim Allen is, it seems like he'd be a pretty easy guy to find and kill if those guys were so inclined.

Would rather get life then spend a day with Jill Taylor.

I always figured those were pretty common knowledge. Woody Harrelson and Dolph Lundgren are interesting.
