Given that most driving ranges tee boxes in Baton Rouge are rock hard and full of divots....I'd rather hit my driver off the tee all day than hit bad shots off of bare dirt.

Nope. About 1/2 of my range balls are dedicated to hitting wedges.

I don't spend enough time on the driving range period

But when I do hit the range the only time I hit my driver more than five time unless I'm working on something with the driver

I hit maybe 8-9 drivers at the most unless, I am working I something. I always work my way up beginning with my ago wedge, 7 iron, 4 iron, and 3 wood. Then again, I only hit about 8 of them too. Then I mix it up, I I am playing diffent pars. For example, I will hit driver, then hit 5 iron, then hit a wedge.

60d (majority of those shots b/c I use it almost exclusively inside of 80 yards), 56, 52.

Sprinkle in some PW, 9 Iron.

Drop down to 7 iron, then 4 iron. Then hit about 5 each with my hybrid, and 3 wood. Then hit about 10-12 with my driver.

Yeah, I probably need to get a set pattern next time I go to the range.

I might hit 10 drivers when I hit one the range... Most of my time is spent on the chipping green!

I might hit 1 drive...I usually don't ever hit it on the range.

With the thin faces on the drivers you shouldn't hit more than 10 with the rock balls. Never throw balls in the water or away. Use the cut balls you played with as driver hits on the range.

Depends on if I'm warming up or actually practicing.

But either way I start the same way.

4 or 5 swings with my 9 iron. Then a couple with my 7 then a couple with my 5 iron. Then just a couple with my driver just to get my bearings straight.

Then either I hit the course, or hit a few other clubs and work where things aren't working.

I rarely hit more than a small bucket. But when I do hit a medium bucket I take a long damn time. Even with a small bucket, I hit one shot, then I relax and take my time between shots.

Most people aren't doing themselves any good with the rapid fire that I normally see people do on the range.

The meathead next to me only carrying his R11S 220 yds does

In all serial tho, it's only a waste if your goal is to win the unofficial range long-drive contest.

If I'm going to the range to work, I usually only hit a few clubs to work on. Usually like wedge-8 iron, 7-4 iron, or hybrid-driver, so sometimes people next to me probably say I hit the driver to much, but I'm planning on it.
And now I'm scared I'm hurting my driver bc those balls suck and are rocks, thanks for making me nervous guys!

I'm usually to work on something and the driver doesn't come out of the bag until much later. If anything I have the problem of running out of balls before I get to my driver.
