Got any tips to relieve the pain when I hit a drive? It's the inside of my right elbow. Feels like a bee sting when I make contact. TIA

YES! I've been struggling with it for almost 6 months now. Hurts like heck. Last month I got one of those Ace Elbow thingies for tendonitits at my local Walgreens. Only cost about $16, but it actually helps.

The correct answer to the solution would be let it rest.

Something like this might work. If not just get a full on elbow brace like someone posted above. But yea you might want to just put the clubs up for a little bit to let whatever it is try to heal

I tried that. I was a pitcher in HS and college and knew how to handle it with ice. Then got heavily into tennis in my 30s and rest always worked. But now in my 60s rest does no good. I only play once a week and never practice.

Good luck with it. Serious pain in the arse. Every time I play now, my left elbow hurts for a month afterwards.

That's the one I got from Walgreens. It's worn just below the bend of the elbow. I've noticed a marked improvement since I started using it.

probably a technique issue, especially if it's just with the driver. Maybe look into it or have a pro do it?

It is just with a driver. And now that you mention it, I don't have a problem with a 3 wood fair way shot. Might try using the 3 wood off the tee.

Sounds like you may trying to crush it. Try a 3/4 swing and see how much distance you ACTUALLY lose and if it hurts less.

Suck it up Nancy. You gotta learn to play ANY sport in pain as you get older. YOU are getting older. Live with it and get pissed and use it to your advantage. At least the pain will help you stay alert. lol

Go to your doctor. Get a prescription for Voltaran ointment. Put that on there 3 times a day. Your Welcome.

I've struggled with tennis elbow ( outside) and not golfers elbow ( inside) for years. Had ASTM therapy 1st time I had it and it worked but PT got expensive. Just had another bout with it and got steroid shot. It's better but don't know for how long. I got a FlexBar to stretch it and a Band-It brace. I've got some of that oinment that Lithium was talking about too. I use a tee on the range for all clubs and save the real divots for the course. Haven't went to graphite shafts yet.

Rest won't necessarily fix the problem, it will feel better until you use it again, but if you've gotten it once you will probably injure it again. You need to stretch it really well before you play, and find exercises to strengthen the area, and areas around it

I like something called TOPRICIN.

Whole Foods carries it.

you can get it cheaper online.

The guys telling you to let it rest have the upper hand though.

TOPRICIN is a kitchen sink blend of homeopathics.

Since I never had that kind of issue with my elbows and my golf swing even though I had messed up my elbows many times in other sports, I am guessing you may be able to change your swing and not have it happen, once you let it recover.
My elbows particularly disliked tennis, and arm wrestling.
Arm wrestling was the worst.
