Gonna hit the food trucks up for the first time tomorrow. Seeing what the food board recommends for a first timer. The only thing I really don't eat are tomatoes and guacamole but will eat tomatoe sauces and what not (i know weird)

Yeah, Curbside burger should be #1 on the list.

I liked Kicker's a lot but they are no longer in BR.

Don't know too much about the rest, honestly.

Ignatius Reilly's has food that I'd readily pay $25-$30 for at a place like Bistro Byronz. I really, really want to try Curbside Links. The Cuban truck is good, but SLOW. The other one (some BBQ truck) isn't worth trying.

All great choices. Also, the French Onion Soup from Ignatuis as well as their eggs cacienne if you go for brunch in the future. I've heard good things about the new pizza truck, but haven't gotten to try it.

Tonight, the wroundup is going to be at French Quarter Daquiris on Essen. Not all of the trucks will be there, but a good number of them will.

It isn't weird. I can't do raw tomatoes either.

I second the Dat Foo from Taco de Paco. Mushroom one is pretty good as well. Curbside was OK (had the fried cheese one) when I tried it- I prefer Fatcow. Ignatius's pork sandwich was good. Would have been great if they used better bread.

Ugh

Curbside: best burger you will eat in BR, all local fresh organic ingredients. There fries are dank too.

Ignatius Reilly's Gourmet Street Food: LEGIT, there menu is constantly changing, but they keep the favs on there. got the Korean BBQ sandwich, filled me up and it was soooo damn goood. definitely try

Cuban Connection: never tried, i will soon

Taco De Paco: first food truck i ever tried, it is really good but it is too expenses and doesn't fill me up.

Curbside is the best ever.
