Why does it seem that Cane's usually has top notch employees and all the other fast food places don't??

For those that have worked at Cane's, do they have some sort of intense training program? Or some reading and comprehension tests? Basic math tests? I just don't understand the huge difference in employees from Cane's and the other fast food restaurants.

I know, I know, CSB, etc.

Usually look for employees that are in college, instead of employees off the street. Being located in college towns helps.

I don't know what Cane's is, but I would put Chic-fil-a employees up against them any day of the week.

I have wondered this too, I have experienced nothing but excellent service at Canes.

they give out (or used to) rewards like gift cards. they promote a fun environment by playing music during shifts and they have a lot of company-wide and store specific gatherings for employees

eta: they really stress the whole secret customer thing because the highest rated stores get perks

They're good, but don't beat Chick Fil A

And as some others have mentioned, as they get bigger I bet it will get worse which makes chick Fil a that much more impressive.

I managed there back in the day. Basically we didn't just hire anyone who applied and there is a long training program. We would work around students schedules so would always have plenty college/high school kids. Plenty great black employees as well. If u were caught being rude to a customer good chance u would be fired.

Its all about The owner/bosses

If you hire level headed kids that follow instructions well (usually high school/college kids) and expect more from them than you will get more from them

Also if you set your focus on having the best run store at first moreso than making more money you set up a good ground for the business to succeed

One of the reasons is they don't mess around. You miss your shift or get caught misbehaving or being rude in anyway most likely you're gone. I've heard it kind of sucks because they're so anal about everything.

Popeyes drive-thru should offer interpreters, a car wash, inspection stickers and tire rotations while you're having to deal with that incredibly long & grueling wait for your delicious 3pc.

They really are great.

No fast food joint, however, compares to the quality of the employees at Chick-Fil-A on Ambassador in Lafayette. It's retarded how good they are. They forgot my fries one time, so I called, and the manager told me I could have any 3 combos (any size) for free next time I go. Didn't need proof or anything. I went and told them that the manager authorized it and they didn't even need to verify. Just gave me my food.

The place is always clean. All of the employees are great. They even hired a mentally handicapped worker to help clean tables. That is class. Can't recommend it enough.

I have no clue why, but Popeye's CONSISTENTLY is filled with people who are dedicated to fricking up your order and doing it as slowly as possible. I have empirically tested this at Popeye's all over South Louisiana.

Plaquemine's Popeye's, though, you guys get a pass. You folks are on your game.
