That's what I was thinkin, I think that we definitely should have picked up Ron Brooks. That's not even being a homer, Brooks brings much more to the team than Toon does. We are more in need of defenders than receivers

In all fairness, B rooks didn't start because he played behind the best pure CB in the country and the best playmaker in the country. Yet he was still brilliant when he did play.

Brooks was an interesting fit for a lot of teams because he does a lot of things for you. He'll play on special teams as a returner, a gunner, or wherever else you need him. And he can line up as a nickel or dime corner and has the athleticism to do a lot of things on the edge.

Toon is a big body receiver. I like the pick. We could have done worse.

Yeah, it's a good pick. He's big, strong, and polished..the kind of guy that really fits the offense the saints run.

thought they should have gotten the safety from USCe, Barron. Then again, maybe we don't need another run stopper...

right, loomis picks best available, period, and he thought Toon was the best pick at the time for the saints. I don't think people realize how big meachem's shoes are to fill.

The game, and namely the Saints O, has evolved into tall receivers. He can be worked with or else they wouldn't have burned the pick on him.

Just frikin trust our staff. Damn, you guys.

I think the kid is going to be really good. Eventually may be a #2- let's set that as a ceiling.
