Yeah, it was on here first. The original artist was so offended by my poor attempt at colorizing his original logo that he made one in the red/black/gold color scheme for us. LINK

HA! offended? nah, I was just asked by a friend to do a red black and gold version. (GeauxColonels).

I'm not on this board much, but I'm enjoying the discussion about the potential name change. I'm not a fan of the "Hornets" as it doesn't seem to tie into New Orleans much... We need a name that we can own, like the Saints— not a hand-me-down.

Interested to see how it all plays out, and would love to be able to help out with the final design if the opportunity arose.

Truth. He had no idea what was going on. So I sent him a message on Facebook and asked him if he would be interested in updating the logo with the red, black & gold color scheme.

My favorites so far are Pelicans, Krewe, and Brass. I don't love any of them, but I would be extremely dissapointed if the team chose either Angels or Spirit. In fact, I would be shocked if they were called either of those WNBA name prospects. Hornets is way better than both of those.
