Won't know that until he actually plays a down so let's be slow to praise him. Looks like he is starting to develop nicely however

Randall to WR. Liggins to defense.

Couldn't agree more. Competition should make both better. I hope Mett plays as good as I think he will but Rivers is a "tiger" and you have to give him an opportunity to compete.

One thing is for sure! We are in better shape at the QB position than the past few years.

He can have all the opportunity he wants, and, he still isn't any comp for The Mett.

I want Rivers to succeed here. I'm just hoping he doesn't need to come in before he's ready. Hopefully Mett stays healthy and Rivers and Randall get a couple snaps next year.

Mett might remind tiger fans of Bert Jones. On Rivers and Randall let's not go overboard, let them develop slowly so we don't have the JJ and JL, two young QBs forced in before their time.

Now that we have talked about the qbs and nothing but the qbs, can someone give us a rundown on how the scrimmage went and who stood out besides the qbs?

LSU nation has suffer too long with below average qb play.

amen. enough is enough. if we put up a really good offense this year; one where we can run and throw the ball, we are gonna be one damn good football team.

This makes me nervous... Norse berserkers tend to get out of position. I was hoping for the controlled fury of a Mongol horde.

i honestly don't know what life will be like without JJ, I will have to pinch myself first game to remind me that Mett is the starter. I am kinda giddy

Short answer no. Go start your own on that subject if you don't like the topic covered in this one!

Hey Earthquake the above is a joke. I am with you though but I guess nobody has any info???

After the QB play the last few years its tough for all of us to not get excited over a change at that position. But, I agree with you and would like to know how the RB and receivers looked.

I'm hoping we get more productivity out of TE position.
