Someone fell down, and people were jumping around him. It wasn't a dogpile.

Ole miss 100% dogpiled two yeas ago but it didn't bother me. LSU as far as I saw did not dogpile tonight.

John Cohen was the coach when they won the SEC in 2006. I think that might still be their only title.

Well of course not. It was an excellent opportunity to make fun of them.

Tell me we didn't dog pile after going 1-0 in SEC play?

How the mighty have fallen!

Us fans at the game did not act like it was the 1st SEC game, we acted like it was an SEC game. We pumped up the players to a fever pitch, and they responded with a victory. I piss on your wet blanket attitude so GTFO, your stinking up the joint.

Watch a clip of lsu winning any CWS. Then watch a clip of us winning tonight.

One is a dog pile and one is not. Educate yourselves.

Had State won that game and dogpiled there would have been a much longer thread than there is now stating how inappropiate it was. My biggest gripe about LSU athletics is not about parking prices, crappy chicken tender baskets, facility needs, or M. But rather it is about

Apparently more than has already been said... They celebrated a walk-off win (like every single team would) and some players fell down in the celebration. That is not a dogpile

I think it was an accidental dogpile. A lot like Ole Miss in 2010. There were a lot of people on the ground, though. More than Ole Miss' "dogpile".

Eta: I'm mad I switched to Notre Dame. I had Xavier until Wednesday night.

Etaa: how did people miss it? I mean I was celebrating and looked away.. Then I looked back and there was a pretty good sized dogpile near 2nd base. I assume someone got shoved down an a bunch of guys fell on him but they were tangled up in dogpile fashion.. Not sure why people are saying it wasn't a dogpile.

I agree. Remember that these are just kids who won a very exciting conference home opener. I sincerely hope that those who always find something like this to bitch about actually missed the comeback and left the game early after MS State homered in the 10th. Tyler Hanover had the defensive play of the game. LSU fans have seen things like that in the past and maybe we shouldn't have given him a standing ovation?
