I don't think the team needs a fourth string female kicker to rally around.

Neither did CLM, apparently. And that's fine.

But anyone who can consistently execute the skills required for a kicker should get the spot. What that person has between the legs is completely irrelevant - what matters is getting the job done. If Mo can get that job done in August, suit her up.

I can easily understand why tackling might be a problem, it is very much a learned skill especially at that level.

mo has got some nits to do that. and im sure shes getting her fair share of others opinions about it. can she get tackled and get back up? theres a question. yeah it might be cool to kick for the team but it aint that fun when you get hit by a 6'4 270 fire breathing D1 football player. sall the video of her kicking 45 yarders like its nothing thogh. she can deff kick. to soccer or football. either wasy shes lsu. glad we have her

What in the hell is she talking about here? If God wanted her on a football team he would've made her a man.

+1 Glad it's over.
Not so fast my friend.
Not saying she'll make the cut, but Isom seems to have sand.
Get ready for the sequel, Meaux Part Deaux.

what dream? getting on the football team? give me a break.

The dream of becoming a successful woman in a male dominated sport most likely, also to be the first one to play on her favorite team..

God there are a shitload of sexists on this board, yes she's hot and yes the publicity does help her career, but all I see when I read this thread is a bunch of babies who are scared of a woman with strong beliefs and is probably in better shape than the lot of you.

Yeah, I mean it gets to the "let's tear anything and everything down that anyone does." Why not wish her well and thank her for being such a positive example for others?

Mo Isom is very pretty, very smart, very funny, and has great camera presence. That being said her trying out for the FB team is 100% for publicity to further her possible career in media. But even more so, as you can see from her statements, she wants to use it as a platform for Tebowesque evangelicalism.

And fwiw, all the "she has more athletic ability than any of you have in your left pinkie" crowd, please. If you played a sport in high school as a guy you're as athletic as Mo Isom. She was a mediocre woman's soccer goalie and she's a decent kicker. 90% of guys who played soccer that long could do the same thing with enough practice. Is her dedication and practice impressive? Yes. But it's not otherworldy athleticism

Especially in regards to peoples' suspicions that this is a publicity stunt. I'm not sure how over 15 months of 4+ hour training days and countless sacrifices made in my personal and athletic life could ever be viewed as a publicity stunt, but all are entitled to their own opinions.

Blah, blah, blah. I hope this is over.

Please stop. You will get your interviews anyway. ESPN knows you now. Good luck. Now stop making a mockery of LSU football.

There are a buncha butt-hurt internet badass's here that are pissed off because a woman is more athletically talented than they are. They talk a lot of shite, but I'd like to see any of them get out and kick a kickoff to the goal line.

This! I'm proud to be a lady tiger and pulling for her this fall! Some of you boys sound like your on the rag, petty bitches.
