Hugely blown out of proportion, which I guess I understand a little. Perception wise it appears bad, but in reality I think it was just encouraging to legally hit people hard, not encourage dirty play to injure people. shite it isn't like a coach would be wanting his team to get personal fouls. I think if there wasn't the bounty for specific players there would be much less blow back.

Not even a scandal. Every team does it (no link, just a hunch. Kinda like every major cfb program player gets improper benefits). It's just that the saints got caught. Schefter just said the sanctions will be "unprecedented". What a douche.
