For my future brother-in-law's bachelor party. We have reservations at BR Prime for Saturday night. Anyone have a recommendation regarding their entrees?
I saw a thread about it from three years ago about it and most of the reviews just talk about how expensive it is.
Also, any other meal recommendations while we are there?

BR Prime is pretty good..... But there is a Ruth's Chris in the Hard Rock - I personnally think its better.
Its a prime steakhouse..... So eat a steak.
The japanese place n the Beau has some pretty good grub at their hibachi..... Imperial Palace has a good sushi restrnt. Really good authentic mexican place just over the bridge to the east..... Dont remember the name tho.

Don't understand why people pay that kind of money to eat a steak at a casino. That shite is just insane.

I've eaten Kobe at Tom Colicchio's Craft Steak at the MGM Grand, but that was entirely comped.

Just drop $100 on red before you eat. Free steak for the weekend.

I've done two bachelor parties at the Beau and two anniversaries spent there with my wife. Had BR Prime each time, been pleased every time. Yes it can be pricey, but I get free rooms in the Beau and usually ended up racking up enough comps to pay for my meals. My one piece of advice is if you plan on gambling a good bit, please sign up for a players card, use it at every table you go to and thank me later. Charge the meal to your room and at the end of your stay see how much you can comp off your final bill.
The Coast Nightclub is a restaurant during the day, I would hit it up probably Saturday during the day if you do some heavy drinking the night before. It's pretty solid for casual bar food, the Nachos were a life-saver last time I was there. You will most likely spend a good bit of money, unless you have good luck, and know when to walk away from the tables, so this can be a more cost-efficient lunch for you and your buddies.
Beau Rivage is best casino I have ever been to (including Vegas) about getting you drinks at the tables, use this to your advantage. My friends and I were tipping the drink girl $2-$3 each time and she would start coming every 15 minutes or so, and she even started bringing us Vegas bombs when are beers were still mostly full, (same shots were $7 each at the bar.). So don't buy shots, lol. Get in good with the drink girl and order them from her.
One last tip,
You don't get comped unless you are wagering a average of $25 a hand, which is why I usually stay on the roulette wheel for a few hours playing with $1 chips and betting $3-$10 on like 8-12 numbers per spin. I have roughly $50-$100 on the table on the table for every spin, which equals lots of comps and as long as your betting a large amount of numbers and hitting one every couple of spins you can play for hours.

The Delmonico Ribeye is the best choice for steak at BR Prime. Their fish selection is always good and is usually what I order.
Thirty-Two Restaurant at the IP is another good choice with great views.
Tien is the IP Japanese restaurant and Jia is the Beau Japanese Restaurant. I like Jia the best, but Tien is good too. The last time I ate at Jia was for New Years Eve and there were 8 of us. Everyone ordered an appetizer, like two rolls each and the lomein and some other stuff and everything we ordered was delicious.
The brazilian steakhouse at IP is good, maybe too much salt on the meats.
Ruth's Chris is...well Ruth's Chris. I've never had a bad meal at Ruth's.
Mary Mahoney's ALWAYS underwhelms me. I want to love it so much, just because everyone on the coast rants and raves about it. But I don't. Their bread pudding is good and that's all I can say.
If you have time, go to Vrazel's. It's on the beach in Gulfport and is one of our favorite restaurants down here.
