Randazzo's was rated the best by the TP, but that's one opinion. They're good but my favorite was always Mckenzie's. frick all the icing, filling, and shite, I like straight bread and sugar.

I like Randazzo's. Here in BR, Thee Heavenly Donut makes a damn fine king cake. So does Calandro's.

Dong Phuong Vietnamese bakery on Chef in NOLA East is the best value for the money IMO (and delicious). Randazzo's (in Slidell) seems overpriced and the icing is too overwhelming for my taste.

you can get them at NOLA area Tastee donuts
