College basketball has a fraction of the audience it did 20 years ago. Duke/UNC hoops isn't even in the top 5.

OSU/Mich is 3rd in college football alone behind Bama/Auburn and Texas/A&M(well maybe not anymore now that its gettin axed)

Biggest rivalry in college hoops, yes.
Biggest rivalry in sports, no.
Being from NC, my dad and grandpa being UNC alum, and now living in Alabama, and having family ties to Auburn, I would say that the rivalry isn't even as big as the Iron Bowl.

Plus, hardly anyone watches baseball.
Really gonna have to consider some soccer rivalries as top in the world, i.e. Real Madrid vs Barcelona.

OSU/Mich isn't really a known rivalry outside of B1G country. I mean it's known, but no one is going to mention it among the greatest rivalries IMO.

Its the biggest in CBB. Not in sports. I don't even think one particular rivalry is the biggest in sports. Each sport has it's biggest rivalry game for that sport, and that's fine with me. AND IT BETTER BE frickING FINE FOR YOU ALL TOO...or else.
