Seriously. Those days are gone for now.

The fact that we won 24 games the past two seasons says a lot about what our coaching staff has done.

It would take a lot to get us back to 6-6.

I would. Things can change quickly in the SEC. Nothing should be taken for granted. 2 years ago Urban Meyer was percieved to be the only obstacle for $abun. Now that perception has and will continue to fall upon LSU. (Yes even though we lost 1/9)

If CLM get enough BS or is fired LSU does not have a long history of hiring a great Coach. The chances are much greater that the next coach is a lot worse IMO.

In any event, make no mistake, outside forces are working hard to fan the flames of divided fan base. We need to recognize that.

I agree. LSU fans are great, absolutely great, but a good many are going to bitch and moan no matter what! I'm sure if we had beat Bama by 3 in the BCSCG, there are some out there that would be on the bandwagon that we should fire the OC if we can't win by more.

Get a grip. LSU is among the top 2 or 3 programs in football, and we won't be #1 every year. Neither will anyone else.

LSU has gotten exactly what they ordered. They wanted more fans to be involved and more fans to buy tickets etc. which has happened. All the while the ticket prices continue to go up, they start charging for parking that was formerly free, the coaches continue to get larger and larger salaries and everything becomes more high profile. TWhen the fans are constantly charged more and more you can expect that the fans are going to demand more from the players and coaches. It is a vicious cycle.

You can't expect the majority of people to not take more of an interest in something that they are truly invested in whether it be emotionally, financially or a combination of the two.

If these players don't like scrutiny and criticism, don't go to LSU or any other top tier school for that matter. What you will find is that many players that will come to a program like LSU have the personality type where they relish in the attention and scrutiny.

Just my .02.

This happens at every school. The backup QB is always the most popular.

I agree I have been a fan my entire life, although not a lengthy one, and I cant stand about 50% of the LSU football fans. These arse clowns came on around 03 when LSU, not them, won the title and are still drive the bandwagon. I cant believe some 50 year old would actually BOO a 18-20 year old kid, who is playing a sport. Its pretty said what the majority of this fan base has turned into. Do I get frustrated, of course who wouldnt have on Jan 9, well besides Miles, but i didnt bash any players. Some of these LSU fans, mostly older fans, need to grow the frick UP. Its just a game invest your passion and energy into something you can control.

That said, Im taking the my tigers to south beach MIAMI2013

How does the negativity help?

LSU fans should realize that all the negative talk is damaging to the team that they supposed love so much!

There's nothing wrong with voicing a negative opinion at times, but some folks just make a sport of it! If you don't generally support LSU, Coach Miles, and the players, and don't like the direction of our football program, please select a new team to be their so-called fan.

I never said it did. However, if you can't understand that people go way over the top in being fanatics, you should stop reading this board....

I believe I answered the question by saying it's destructive.

because its a stupid question. You are on a message board. LSU got shut out in the national championship, what do you expect? You already admitted you felt the same way. Get off your soapbox buddy

Simple question, were you happy with the way 1/9/12 played out?

No, but there are approximately 365.25 days in a year. I'm not going to let one day ruin my life like a loser with no joy in my day outside of living vicariously through 19 and 20 year olds.

I know that and that is my point with a portion of this fanbase. Plenty of people are quick to latch on to that negativity and spread it. Hell someone already posted about it in this thread after it has been debunked several times.

I understand that, but to say a coach has a personal vendetta against a backup and constantly push that doesn't happen at every school.

It happened with Randle, Shep, and Boone. It may not be a majority of the fanbase, but it does affect our program more than it should

The constant barrage of negative attacks against the team is so obviously destructive that it actually makes me wonder whether or not some of these clowns are actually fans of other teams who've register on TD pretending to be LSU fans!

What real fan would deliberately do something that can't help the team?
