A Good Portion Of LSU's Fan Base Sucks.

I can see why players get upset. They put their blood sweat and tears into their work. THEIR WORK. Same for the coaches who get paid a lot for doing so.
What do we fans put into it. Yeah we pay, and were provided with a great product by any measure. How do we show our thanks for the 13 great weekends they provided for us? Bitching and moaning. You clowns think the coaches and the players know less than you do?
Fans from "other" teams have enjoyed watching our dumbarse behavior more so than watching us lose on 1/9. The alters have been everywhere fanning the flames of dissention, yet so many here dont even notice cause they are to busy complaining.
Recruits have taken notice of our negativity, so have the players and coaches.
I ask these questions. Does LSU have to endure several 6 win seasons to reunite this fanbase? Does winning MNC just temporarily unite the fanbase?
IMO, the negativity is destroying us from within. And it, for a fact, is certainly not helping. Perhaps a Curley Hallman type is what we need and deserve.

I don't know about all that. To buy into your logic, there would have had to have been enough of what you claim to create the 1/9 product as that is where it all started. Prior to 1/9 we were on top of the world, yes, some people were still complaining about JJ or whatever but there wasn't any manifestation of a problem.
I don't care for the cannabalism either but blaming game outcomes and recruiting on the fans is a stretch to me.

Of course not. But Im smart enough to recognize that you have to get there for the game to play out that way.
Winning, as much as we do and have, has absolutely spoiled us. The pro-CLM vs. anti CLM factions are every bit as destructive as the Jlee vs. JJ factions.

I normally agree with you on almost every topic, but today it is clear to me you don't have a full grasp of how recruiting really works.

This is 100% because of Miles' bias towards JJ and his ego in that decision, and mis treatment of Lee, Shep and others. I don't blame JJ for wanting to play, I blame Miles. Miles is the reason the fans are upset. Miles is the reason other coaching staffs got an edge in recruiting, as he keeps giving them ammunition against LSU by his consistently questionable gaffs. He has been able to overcome all of this with talent, but now talent acquisition is now starting to look less secure.

I don't think anyone was, but the way this fanbase has called for coaches heads and spread rumors about players in the locker room was insane.
The negativity around the program goes way further than expected after losing in a NC game, after having such a great season. People on here bitch every day about Miles being a liar, a terrible coach, and predicting he will bring down the LSU pogram. That affects players and recruits more than we would like to think.

The negativity not only has an adverse affect on recruiting, but the program as a whole. If you disagree with that just answer this one question.

No one was happy with 1/9/12. I disagree that the majority suck. I think we have a small group that suck and they are just very active in sucking.
