I love my juicer. I use it pretty regularly. It's pretty easy to clean out, but I don't have a dishwasher so I'm use to putting a little elbow grease in to cleaning things up. Fruit and veggies aren't all that expensive. For $10 I can get enough stuff for a week's worth of juice.

And I love the juice froth. Maybe I'm weird.

Here's my juicer

I threw out a lot of dumb kitchen gadgets (crepe maker, bread maker) a long time ago and passed the word to family not to buy them for me anymore. My late mother-in-law was going give me one every Christmas no matter what, but since she died 15 years ago, no more gadgets.

I just bought one for myself last year, since I don't like microwave popcorn and you can't pop it right in a regular pot, the lid holds in steam, I got one of these for $20 and use it at least once a week. As Alton Brown calls it, a real 'uni-tasker'. Makes terrific popcorn.

I cut ribs with an 8 inch chef's knife. I didn't even buy the cleaver. When the parents died, brother took everything in the garage and I got everything in the kitchen.

Mom used it to cut up whole chicken for frying. I buy chicken already cut up.

The only reason I keep it is in case my neighbor really pisses me off one day and I'll go all Jason on his arse.

I have two and use at least one of them about once a week. Love rice cookers.

The Kitchenaid stand mixer gets used about once every other month. Which isn't that bad, except that it takes up a huge amount of counter space just sitting there the rest of the time. We also have a whole drawer full of place mats that never get used. The dining room table isn't nice enough to deserve them.

I don have a rice cooking machine, I have my moms 40 plus year old double boiler rice cooker. Neat, clean, simple, and I can always use it as a stand alon pot if needed.

My new mixer/combo juicer I got a few weeks ago at a garage sale for $5.

1932 Fitzgerald Magic Maid Mixer

Cleaned and oiled it up and it works great.
I enjoy collecting old crap like this.
I already have an offer of $25 just for the beaters off the mixer.
