Now the SEC can end that Bama/Tenn hold the SEC schedules hostage crap.

UT has more wins than LSU. I think its close to 60. Pretty sure GA still has more wins, but LSU is catching them quickly.
Edit: I am not sure what criteria you are using though. Thus, I very well might have a different idea of what you are classifying as "successful"

Is there any summary as to how they arrive at their point totals?
Just wondering what could have been had we won the title this year...

Grambling is #2 in Louisiana, interesting

#2 is relative, though.
Bear Bryant, the man, has 14 SEC titles. Tennessee, the program has 13 SEC titles. I believe LSU is 4th in number of SEC titles won.

I hate when people call us Louisiana State

Tennessee
792-345-53
.688 Win Pct
2 AP/Coaches National Titles
13 SEC Titles
49 Bowl Games
LSU
721-389-47
.643 Win Pct
3 Ap/Coaches National Titles
11 SEC Titles
43 Bowl Games
Tennessee has a big lead on LSU in head to head meetings, as well. Other than that 1 National title, LSU doesn't have much on Tennessee, tbh.

I love stuff like this. Seriously, after a good decade LSU has passed Tennessee and UGA. With another good decade we will pass Nebraska.

If anyone is interested the leading programs since the championship game would be Florida, LSU, Bama, AU, UGA, Tenn
AU, UGA, Tenn have 2 each
Bama 3
LSU 4
Florida 7
Perhaps the most impressive stat is UF making it to the game 10 times

And no one outside of Tuscaloosa gives a shite
LSU has won just as many SEC titles in the last 10 seasons as bama as since 1982
back to Tidefans little fella

really, posting something like that at me with an LSU name and a Miami icon next to it?
Literally beat both those teams down in the Dome, when they were #1 no less.
I just think the fact that Alabama had to vacate a shite ton of wins, admittedly hired the worst coaches ever and still lead the SEC in everything is proof how far back everyone else was.
