Look, I love the post, & I'm all for some positivity, but something went down between JJ & T-Bob.

I'm not saying the OL laid down or that there was a huge dustup or anything like that. But please consider that Gordy Rush would not tell you about a fight or dissension in the locker-room

T-bob just sent a message to all tiger fans:

I just heard about this alleged argument that took place between me and coach miles before the game, there is absolutely no truth to it."

"Also me and Jordan never fought; this team is a team full of brothers and we always played for each other over everything else"

"LSU has given me the best 5 years of my life, playing as a tigerwas a dream come true! I will always cherish my experiences in battle"

Geaux Tigers!

Paid site

He went with Frank Wilson...

LSU saved it's in home visit...

I think Collins keeps his pledge to Alabama.

But in recruiting, assume nothing!

Right on brother. Thanks for providing the first rays of sunshine in what was a very long, dark week.

Like most, I don't have an answer to the JLee saga. But some people need to put things in perspective - our coach just went thru the SEC regular season undefeated (winning almost every game convincingly), won the SEC Champ, was named Coach of the Year, was playing for his 2nd national champ, and, prior to Monday, many people were claiming this team was one of the best of all time. Dude didn't forget how to coach or recruit overnight. Some of the rantards (and former NFL QB's from Cut Off) may think that LSU is able to attract so much talent based on name alone that you can plug any idiot into the head coaching job and they will win 8 games a year. But try that argument with a USC, Miami or Texas fan and see where you get.

Every coach including the almighty Saban has one of those games where they just get beat for whatever reason....outcoached, didn't have his team ready, didn't eat little debbies the night before, whatever. Say what you want, with the exception of this game and Florida a few years ago (and maybe a Georgia game), our team usually shows up (or at least finds a way to win on off-days). Rantards conveniently forget some of the Saban letdowns and how the term "brook trout" look came about. Unlike Miles, however, that dude would just blame it on his players (didn't execute the plays we called), the fans (not supporting the team at all times leads to negativity around the program), media (I could be dreaming up new schemes if I didn't have to sit hear and answer so many stupid f*cking questions, aight), etc., and most would not dare question him. It's a lot easier to look good when you are skilled at deflecting blame. Would you feel better if Miles came out and said he had called all the right plays, but Hurst/Jefferson/Mathieu didn't execute?

For the rantards who want a new coach, one question - who ya got? Cause I don't see a whole lot out there better than the current current coach of the year that we already have. As another one who suffered thru the Hallman/Gerry D. days, I would have given my left nut to see us in this position every year. And I, for one, am not eager to return to those days.

Hats off to Saban and Alabama - they had a very strong team this year, and they got the better of us this time. They were the better team Monday night. But this rivalry has turned into a great one and is FAR from over. And I won't be surprised to see us DESTROY them next year.

Let the butt-hurt continue to heal!

From Gordy Rush's Facebook:
quote:

This is for the Tiger Fans: I was with the team from 3pm on Monday and was the last person out of the locker room after the game. The rumors and e-mails I have been getting are ridiculous. None of them are true - there was no fight before or at halftime, no players and Coach Miles in an argument. it's amazing the drama that is out there. I was there the whole time! Please move on from the drama - it's making everyone look bad - the program, the fan base, the players ...no one wins with all of this crap out there.

Yes, I receive a check for doing sidelines for LSU. It represents less than 4% of my income this year. I wouldn't break classified information or probably tell you that there was a fight, IF THERE WAS A FIGHT!, because of my repsonsibilites with LSU on Gameday but I don't mind shooting something down THAT DIDN'T HAPPENED!

Apex!!! My man!!! I felt a stirring in my loins for the first time since Monday!!!!

Now if we can just keep all these folks in the fold, convince LC that playing beside TM7 will be better than sex, find an OC that can actually spell passing game...we will be hot schit-ski again!

If Les pulls this off, he is more of a snack oil salesmen than I thought especially with Landon Collins.

I belive LSU can be special, but Les has to get things in order for his team to make a serious run next year. Yes the schedule gets easier but the SEC schedule imo gets harder. It won't be easy to repeat as SEC champions, but attainable. Key games will be Florida, Auburn, S.C., and obviously Bama and Arky will be a mother fricker to win in Little Rock or Fayettenam

couple of posts from people who have been around the program or the family; one article also suggested RR might be re-thinking his decision.

has until Wednesday.
