Where the hell have you been. I miss your romo meltdowns

You've only posted for like 1 month before I got banned. That entire month Romo never played in a Dallas game. That, and I rarely had meltdowns if ever about Romo, I'd get pissed about the Cowboys losing, but I never blamed Romo for anything. I was probably the most tamed Dallas fan on this board, you must have heard that from some sainttard or something.

I was way better than Ronald. The only time I got riled up was when the Saints/Cowboys arguments heated up in 2009. 2010 was a lost cause for the most part, the season was over before it started and I wasn't here for 11 or I might have flipped out.

I'm a huge 49er fan. Most likely second to no other 9er fan here. (JK Bonds an Rockyn)

I believe the Saints will win, but it will not be easy for them. I could be wrong.

However, I find the ignorance of the 49ers here astounding.

quote:

Im not remotely impressed by the 49ers weak schedule

This is outright stupidity. The 49ers were 4-1 against playoff teams this year. They beat the Giants, Lions, Bengals, Steelers and lost to the Ravens on a short week.

quote:

Smith hasnt passed for 300 yards all season and it wont happen against the Saints

No. It won't. It likely won't happen next year either. This isn't SF's game. 2011 SF is the NFL version of the 2011 LSU team: strong defense, better special teams and an adequate offense....just with a far better QB.

quote:

Saints, not to mention that team has virtually no playoff experience

This is what I think will decide the game.

EZ's prediction:

Saints 24
Whiners 16

Saints get a late TD to put the game away after the Niners fail to find the EZ on two late crucial drives.

These people watch at most 3 Niner games a year. To a degree you can't blame them.

I guess so. We have a lot of talent this year so i could see him jumping all over that. I havent been around since the season ended so im kinda out of the loop right now.

You should check out the Coaching Changes board. Theres a couple threads going on that are totally irresponsible and immature but they also have one with some rumored canidates that include Coach Dykes (I would love this tbh) ,coming back from Live Oak, Dude Love Edwards, and Justin Hutchinson

Congrats, yall beat the Steelers with Roethlisberger virtually immobile and barely able to play (oh and the same Steelers team that lost to Tebow and the Broncos)..and the Bengals? Come on. They may have made the playoffs but no one views them as close to elite

We beat the Giants and Lions too..twice in the latter case, and more convincingly than the Niners..

I will say it says a lot about the defense of the Niners to keep the Lions in a relatively low scoring contest, but it won't be as easy with the Saints. That being said I dont see the Saints scoring 40+ pts

Their success this season is more a function of the passing game.

This about the dumbest comment I've read all day. I guess the best guard combo in the league has nothing at all to do with the success of the Saints running game either.

In the second half of the season, Carl Nicks has arguably the most dominate offensive lineman in all of football. Throw in an upgrade at center with De La Puente & solid play at the tackle positions from Bushrod & Strief & that's the reason why the Saints finished 6th in rushing.

Sproles, Ivory & Thomas are all capable backs & running behind that line makes them all that much better.

besides 2011, when in say this millinium were they worth watching?

I've been asking people in another thread why they were ranking the Giants over the 49ers, which strikes me as stupid. I think they are a dangerous team and could easily beat the Saints, but they will not "maul" the Saints and won't hold the Saints to under 20, let alone 10 or 13 like someone has said.

The OP (or OTP -- Original Troll Person) is not simply saying the 49ers have a chance to win. He is saying they are going to maul the Saints. That is highly unlikely -- even if the Saints were playing GB, much less SF.
