lamont played for brady on the sweet 16 team in 2000 and got hurt the following season. he was playing in mexico not that long ago.

My face ended up in his left armpit after the fans stormed the court after the 2000 Arizona upset.

Yes I remember him. Great player.

Of course. Roland was a big part of that 2000 Sweet 16 team. I also remember he had asthma and the game against Wisconsin was in The Pit (New Mexico?). His breathing was really affected by the high elevation.

I remember him pretty well. 2000 was the year I really started following LSU basketball. He played really well on our 2000 Sweet Sixteen team, and tore his knee up before his senior year.

Yeah Lamont definitely tore his knee during the Alabama game.

That was a tough as nails team. Devoid of experienced talent, but a good bit of young. Losing Lamont hurt that squad.
