There are definitely LSU haters living in LA but I would say that there are overwhelmingly less haters for a state school in LA when compared to state residents hating on state schools in other states.

=10000.....grew up constantly hearing La Tech people bitch about LSU and constantly stating that Tech was a much better school, and downing LSU at any opportunity. Seems like that has died down a lot, although you still have a few old school die hard techies who won't cheer for LSU regardless.

Watched the Ole Miss game last year in NOLA before a Tulane home game. Had to spend the entire time listening to a bunch of Greenies talking trash about how 'LSU sucks.'

It happens, no matter where you are. But I have to agree with the overwhelming sentiment that USL fans hate LSU. Done a lot of work over the past five years in Lafayette, spent a lot of time hearing ignorant crap from Cajun Fans.
