I have several friends who claim to be fans but totally believe that we were outplayed and outcoached. These same people are also still Miles haters. They are the type of people that will be the "told you so" folks if LSU loses in January.

If you look at the stats neither team dominated the other, unless you look at Rushing, in which LSU dominated Bama.

Outcoached? are you kidding me, saban refused to punt to pin us deep and put out an injured maze when the game was on the line. He looked like a fool.

sorry for my venting.

Probably just because they are Miles haters.

Also, you have to be fair. Bama dominated LSU when it came to passing yards.

Miles made Saban his bitch. He played the whole game conservatively, while making Saban think that he had to take risks to beat Miles.

I could see someone possibly thinking Bama outplayed LSU.. But Miles by far outcoached Saban in that game. Saban made many stupid decisions. Kicking 50+ yard FG, trick play etc.

if a team is outplayed and outcoached, it doesn't win. Your friends are dumbasses.

all these people for these teams always claim some BS, Georgia- well, if our recievers hold the TD passes thrown to them we up 24-0 on LSU

Arky-if we don't make these mistakes that made us self destruct we have a good chance to win the game, and the worse

Alabama-we outplayed LSU, if our kicker makes thes kicks we win the game. Our stupid TE let a 6'0" foot safety take the ball away from him.

never no credit to the great defense LSU played to cause them to make those maistakes. and if Jordan Jefferson plays decent QB instead of woeful QB play causing teams like Georgia to boast about their D we make them shut the frick up.

I felt like we got outplayed until the 4th quarter. I'm a huge fan of Les Miles and think Saban did one of his worst jobs ever during the game.

Without rewatching the game, it seems that Bama moved the ball better but bogged down around the 30 yard line. LSU had a couple of nice drives, particularly to end the 1st half. Had LSU gotten into the field position that Bama did, LSU would have won by 9-12 points, because I don't think Allemon misses those FGs.

As far as coaching, Miles had the upper-hand over Saban. No way anyone can really believe that Miles was outcoached.

Stats, moving the ball and the all the rest of the coulda-woulda-shoulda shite is irrelevant, and repeated by losing coaching staffs and fans every week.

To make or stop the plays resulting in a W is all there is to it.

You can't say you outplayed anyone if you lose, unless refs take it from you.

Honest coaches and players repeat after every loss "We didn't make the plays to win the game."

I'm not sure if there's anything left to explain.

we outrushed them 150 to 100.

we also beat them in 'scoreboard'

not only that, they were gassed in overtime. our defense is so deep that we were not phased by trent richardson in OT, which is where he should have thrived.

by they way, they were outcoached

I have not heard that too much.... but people who still choose to hang on to thier ill conceived thoughts/opinions even when there is evidence that proves otherwise, are just being stubborn and stupid..... they dont want to admit they were wrong, they are not true fans at all... IMO

If you have friends that say that you should just consider them to be jackasses who don't know what they are talking about.

And FTR "we outplayed yall" is a cry losers use. I guess it is suppose to make them feel better but it makes me laugh....basically they are saying we played better than yall and still couldn't win

i think alabama outcoached us. i think their defense had our offense (with j lee) completely figured out. and i think their offense had many more plays that took advantage of our defensive weaknesses.

that said, i think we outplayed bama. i think our players made the bigger plays.

and all that said, i think the full jj offense is completely different. and i think john and stud will be ready and outcoach alabama on jan 9.

Did you watch us play all year? It's not that he refused to punt to pin you deep, it's that we can not depend on our kickers to do that. I hope during this time off, the kickers do nothing but kick, kick, and do some more kicking.
I was watching a replay of the game last night, and your kicker is great, and this really hurt us a lot.
