Huge Les Miles fan. I think hes awesome.. and a perfect fit at LSU. Not sure how good of a fit he would be at at one of the traditional powers like Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame. But Coach Miles and LSU go together like peanut butter and jelly.

yeah it's a slap in the face essentially calling us non-traditional and a problem child of sorts and perculiar.

I just hope they keep pumping shite like this out till January, our guys will knock them back into the 20th Century where they belong.

Obviously.....Les has had an influence in my life.

Hard to actually dislike him. He's a very positive guy.

I still think he missed his calling though, he should have played Chong in the old Cheech and Chong movies

you watch enough of any team and you can see what ever you want to see, and as long as they're winning no coach is going to appear disapproving, i.e. Pete carroll, dennis erickson, kiffin, meyer, saban, mack brown,.....

Having read the entire thread, I'm surprised by how overwhelmingly positive the gumps are about CLM. There are a few negatives, but those are way outnumbered by praise.

except this guy...

His psychological approach is one based on getting the other team angry. Ours is about getting the other team scared. I think we will be angry.....I think they might be scared......

It's nice having a coach who is grateful for his and his team's accomplishments as a result of maturing together and having the resolve to make the proper adjustments throughout the years to bring us where we are now. I'll take Coach Miles any day over that sullen Gump who demands greatness at the expense of possibly ruining a player mentally as well possibly exploding and croaking on the sidelines himself. Needless to say, this is gonna be one hell of a match-up, and I like our odds. Nick and

That's what I was thinking. That guy can't be a true gump. Everybody knows gumps use "peas and carrots" in that context.
