(And I don't care if this is Germans, it needs to continue to be brought up all week)

Desmond's comment about the honey badger on the college football live special last night were spot on. Heisman Voters are being hypocrites if they are going to penalize TM7 for his one game suspension. La Michael James had a one game suspension to start the season last year and that didn't stop him from being brought to New York.

Both Desmon and Kirk were in agreement that the most electric and dynamic player who has been so critical to his teams success this year and who has also time and again had his "heisman moment" on the big stage when his team has needed him most has hands down been the honey badger.

It would be a total sham if the voters do not do the right thing and make sure TM7 gets the invite to New York. We understand that he isn't going to be able to win it, (although as the guys were saying last night, he actually is the most deserving) but to honor him with the New York trip would be the absolute right thing to do.

Come on now, if you're going to quote people quote them for exactly what they said. They didn't just single out TM7. They also said RG3 was in the same category. I love TM7, but I think RG3 deserves it more this year. TM7 does need to be invited though.

Desmond is right, but he won't. It is like ok state vs. Bama. Ok st. Horrible job of lobbying did them in long before they played ok.
He does have time to pick up some other awards though.
It would be funny if he picked up awards for best defensive player and maybe even best player but wasn't a finalist for the best
Player at his position.

The best set up year for a Heisman campaign. If he's 5th as a sophomore, and assuming he keeps getting turnovers and making big plays in the return game, he'll be the first defensive player with a fighting chance for the award in a long time.

...and he takes what he wants....

After hearing comments from Heisman voters last night and this morning, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets invited to NYC. Griffin is going to win it all, btw. Late surge over Richardson.

Blame it on the LSU SID office. There has been ZERO promotion of Mathieu. Fire all the SID personnel please.

TD power strikes again. Wasn't it Jimmy the Geek who asked DH at SECCG GameDay if he had TM7 on his ballot and DH said "no one's even talking about TM7"? Mathieu had a great SECCG, and DH had a great change of heart. Wonder what role the earlier conversation had?

Man, do I think he would be right up there in the mix if he played for Bama or Oregon.
