Just a place to go and try something new. Anything close to lafayette, baton rouge, new orleans?

None that I know of because I doubt the FDA would allow that shite to be sold.

I'm pretty sure that type of stuff isn't legal to serve in the US since the FDA can't regulate it.

Use to be a place in Lafayette, near the old Evangeline Downs. At least they served stuff like buffalo, antelope, etc....Don't remember snake and iguana though. Not open anymore to my knowledge.

Woods and Waters,
Why did it close down? I thought since it was near the mall it was a perfect location

Owners went through a nasty divorce, and the restaurant suffered. Last time I went before it closed, they had lost their liquor license.

guy was a genius promoter and relied on gimmicks like this, and it was before the endangered species act so he was able to. None of it was regular menu stuff
