Both hosts say offenses aren't quality and wasn't just a matter of playing great defenses. They want to see the defenses play a truley great offense to see if they are really good. Can't please some people. I guess 39 points a game for the season just ain't good enough.

so i guess they think oregon is not a good offense. Good to know.

Where is Oregon going to end up ranking? Do these guys do any research or watch any sports anymore?

Incredible to me that 2 offenses that have averaged near 40 pts a game up until Saturday suddenly suck. ESPN is brain dead. 5 NC's in a row mainly won on Defense and they still don't get it.

Bring on OKST or Stanford. I can't wait.

It's going to be 7 championships in a row.

PTI is geared toward those with a basketball type of mindset. That pretty much explains the whole show.

I'm glad I read about this instead of watching the two knuckleheads live. Those two could screw up a wet dream.

Text book case of jealousy. The haters hate because we're that good and they know they will never compete. Classic jealousy.

If Pittsburgh wins a Superbowl 10-6, it's a brilliant win by a stellar defense. Who cares...line them up one by one, our D will tear through all of them...

I can remember when a marginally good Ole Miss team played Texas Tech a few years ago and they whipped pretty bad..That's when TT had the greatest offense in the nation.. Not to mention the last 5 years of total BCSNC dominance

What do those effete Yankees know about football anyway?

PTI is the worst place to get comentary on college football. Wilbon thinks Boisie State needs to be #2 right now.
Both of those guys have spent too many years writing for th NorthEastern United States where they don't really care about college football.
Just listen to them talk about college football for any length of time. Even the most casual college football fans knows more than PTI's mental migets.
