In 2007 Ohio State stayed at the Hilton Riverside and I think that the Tigers stayed at the Marriot. We were "fortunate" enough to be at the Hilton ... we got caught by up accident in the area that the players came in post game.

For the '07 Sugar Bowl, LSU stayed at the Hilton Riverside and Notre Dame stayed at the Marriott on Canal.
For the '08 BCSNCG, LSU stayed at the Marriott on Canal, and tOSU stayed at the Hilton Riverside.
I remember hearing the teams' rankings determine which hotel they stay at. Higher ranked team stays at Hilton Riverside.
This could all have changed since then, so take it FWIW.

Thanks. Been reading for years just new to posting. Thought it important to correct before someone "politely" corrected me. I have not recovered fully from my trip to T-Town. Awesome!
